Christina, Laura and Holly Haka Ban

We think that roller mills should have a choice whether they want to perform the haka or not. We belive that if they want to do the haka they should only perform their school haka and keep the New Zealand haka for the All Blacks

We also believe that if roller mills are allowed to do the haka then the ITM cup should be allowed to perform their team's haka.

Traditionally the haka was made to scare away the Maori's enemies. It is now performed at international All Blacks games and matches. The haka shows that kiwis are proud to call New Zealand their home.

In rugby the haka shows maturity and emotion. It is said that the under sixteen's don't have this and that is why the ban come about.

In conclusion we think that roller mills should have the choice of doing the haka or not. But if roller mills is allowed to then the ITM cup should be allowed too.

We think that the junior rugby team should be able to do the haka because if the New Zealand rugby team can do it so why shouldn’t they be allowed to do it too.
We think the haka is good because it’s a good way to be happy and proud without a haka then its dumb game and it makes you happy and proud to be on the team.

Everyone should have a choice to do the haka.
I think it will be a shame to see it go.

I think that it’s wrong to ban the junior’s rugby team from doing the Haka.
I believe that it is ok for the junior’s rugby team to do the Haka and it’s ok for anyone to do the Haka.

I think that the ban placed on doing the Haka on the field before a rugby game is right. The union have done the right thing placing the ban.

I believe that to do the Haka before a game you must be older to have enough maturity to handle the emotional side of the Haka.

The Haka is very special to our country and our land. We must respect the Haka. Our national rugby team the all blacks earn the right to perform the Haka.

I think that our Haka should be reserved for teams visiting New Zealand, not for games between two New Zealand teams.

I really do believe that the union did the right thing placing the ban.

Catharina, I really agree with you. The Haka should be reserved for important international games and the All Blacks have earned the right to perform the Haka, they are at the pinnacle of their sport.

We think that it is wrong that the roller mills rugby team have to do the haka in the changing sheds. We believe that rugby players have a right to do the haka on the field if they want they can do the haka in the changing sheds. If the team have a special game in their country they can welcome them to the country we can do it at the finals and semi finals. In rugby the haka is like the starting of the game it’s like the kick off song. I really think that the ban should be gone from roller mills.
