Kahui Trial.....
This weeks issue is the Kahui Trial. Babies Chris and Cru were squeezed so hard their ribs popped and they werehurled at hard surfaces. The twins died five days later at Starship Hospital and a post mortem examination said that they not only had severe brain injuries but had suffered from earlier injuries before the fatal assault.The latest claims have said that their mother Macsyna King killed them not Chris Kahui the twins father, he has been the suspected killer. Medical experts told the court that the injuries could have happened while Ms King was not in the house. What is your opinion on this? Who killed the Kahui twins? What should the punishment be???? This is a very sad case indeed. Unfortunately, no matter what the outcome, those babies will never be back. It is an interesting case to follow and as much as we hope the truth will be revealed, I can't help but think that we will never fully know the real story. Someone knows the truth but they are clearly too afraid to speak it. It is a horrific crime it shook NZ and launched a big campaign by the government against domestic violence. Are campaigns like this enough? I do not know?
thats just sad, it would suck to be one of those twins. I think Chris kahui did it because the mother wasn't in the house at the time and I was watching a video of this incident on you tube I could see hat its pretty obvious that he did it because he looked guilty. If I was the father I would of either loved my kids or not touch them at all
I feel that not all the infomation is out for us to read. So far we have only heard a little bit of the story. Hopefully the true story will came out. I belive it is more imporant to make sure this type of thing stops happening again.
i completly agree i dont know etheir but i hope the real killer is cought it is very sad i hope they pick up the gut to admit the foolish act they have commited.
This is some horrible behaviour performed by the parents (as it seems). Aren't parents meant to set an example to their children and/or their neighbours and community? Macsyna and Chris have brought shame to not only their community but to New Zealand as well. I believe Chris performed the murders because they say Macsyna wasn't there when the babies were beaten but they could be lying she might have been there in the first place. I think the punishment should be imprisonment for life or a huge fine. Listen to those ads on TV or people talking,

I cant believe that someone would be sad enough to take the lives of two young little babies. I think Chris Kahui should pay the price for doing something as stupid as what he did and there is someone out their who knows the full story of this case.
I think Ms King killed the Kahui twins because they have not proved that Chris Kahui is the killer.I also think the punishment should be 10 years in jail.
I reckon that peopole are just hiding the secret of who killed the babies and they know who killded them but the just dont own up. And the should be in jail for 25 years.
