Cricket
TGFU

All the students have been working very hard during PE this term, developing skills in cricket. The lessons have been student led with each team having their own Captain, Manager and Coach. Find out what the students thought of the first TGFU unit of 2008.

I would like to say thank-you to the team for teaching me how to do an over-arm bowl.

TGFU was great fun and I would like to thank Nick on being such a great coach.
I thought because cricket is sort of a try-your-hardest game, I think that it's not just swinging the bat as hard as you can and hitting 6s; it's all about technique.
That was also the fun part of it because when I tried tricking people into thinking the ball was going a different way to the way I was actually was going to hit it, I ended up tripping in the act.
This was, and many other things in TGFU cricket were a laugh for us all.
